Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority was one of 52 housing and community development agencies to receive an Award of Merit from The National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO). The winners created forward-thinking solutions to local housing issues. “This year’s award winners showcase our members’ creativity and hard work as they continue to meet the needs of their local communities,” NAHRO Interim CEO Mike Gerber said. “As the global pandemic continues to upend lives across this country, the exceptional work of housing agencies is unrelenting. We hope these innovative projects inspire others as they seek to solve local challenges.”
CMHA was recognized for the work done to expand services and ensure families stayed housed during these ever-changing times. The agency took a proactive approach that led to new programs, increases services for residents and businesses and a better work/home balance for employees.
