The Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority is proud to be one of the largest residential property developers in Hamilton County.
CMHA has successfully led planning and development efforts for affordable and accessible public and market-rate housing throughout the county. All told, CMHA has brought more than 1,200 housing units online and overseen more than 2,000 extensive unit rehabilitation projects. CMHA also develops commercial and retail space.
Today, we continue to work toward strategically addressing our community’s housing needs. By leveraging the Rental Assistance Demonstration platform, we will rehabilitate our current public housing stock and preserve its long-term affordability. CMHA is also working to self-develop affordable properties for populations with demonstrated need. These groups include seniors, veterans, and low-income workers, among others. Finally, CMHA is partnering with national development organizations to transform a number of public housing sites while making sure current residents remain housed. These plans will preserve the affordability of affected units and ensure CMHA housing continues to be an asset to the larger Hamilton County community.
