Relocation Department
The Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority’s Relocation Department assists with resident relocation services which include internal relocation for VAWA, Emergency Transfers, Reasonable Accommodations, and Over/Under Housed. The Relocation Department along with Property Management, Legal and Eligibility assist in moving residents to other public housing units within the agency. Each situation is unique to each resident and moves are based on date/time of approved transfer and available units.
In addition, all RAD relocations are being handled through the Relocation Department. The Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) is a HUD tool used to transition Public Housing units to Project Based Rental Assistance (PBRA) or Project Based Voucher (PBV) which may include Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), HOME, and Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) funding. CMHA has completed Baldwin Grove, Sutter View, Evanston, Pinecrest, and Park Eden. We are currently in the process of completing Horizon Hills and Marianna Terrace. These properties no longer Public Housing units.
